It's all in the base |
|
Americon manufactures many
styles of dispatch workstations. In order to compete on bids that require
motorized split-level sit/stand
requirements, we produce a number of versions that go the extra mile to
maximize leg space under the worksurface. Our workstations are robust and
full-bodied and do not rely on the metal legs
typically designed into table style
systems. The totally finished base houses the lifting motors, hardware,
CPUs, and our uniquely segregated power/data cable management
system. Monitor and
power cables pass between the levels through metal shafts that protect and
hide them from view. The base provides both front and rear door access for
convenient equipment installation and service. No need to remove bulky cloth
panels to access the backside of the console. |

Motorized Automation |
|
Sit/stand levels are controlled through a programmable memory panel that
allows three users to define ergonomically comfortable combinations to fit
their individual needs. a total of three memorized scenarios are available
for each user. All power and peripheral cables are positively secured inside
the base to facilitate a superior cable management system. Unlike table
systems, there are no exposed cables in either the sit or stand position.
The freestanding base is expandable
by adding stationary CPU storage cabinets, drawer pedestals or additional
lengths of worksurface on either side to complete the workstation.

Remarkable Versatility |

|
A continuous slatwall is used
to mount
monitor arms, task lights and other accessories above the worksurface to
increase usable work space. The slatwall is available in various heights
and with optional tackable fabric panels for noise suppression. Unlike
furniture systems that rely on cubicle style stationary floor panels, the
Americon slatwall rises with the rear worksurface providing noise reduction
even in the standing position.

Our space age materials and custom designed machinery allow us to create
products that are state of the art in appearance. Split-level workstations are available in straight, concentric arc,
