Dispatch Workstations Americon manufactures a wide range of dispatch workstations for police, fire and security control centers. Many workstation options are available that personalize our dispatch furniture to your individual needs. Rather than the typical table style systems with metal legs that can restrict leg room, our dispatch consoles are robust and full bodied. Leg room is never compromised because our lifting motors, cpu storage and cable management are housed in the cavity of our free-standing base. we manufacture both split-level models and full-lifting systems. we prefer the full-lift because it doesn't compromise valuable worksurface space. everything stays relative during the sit to stand operation and there is much less cable management required. the hydraulic system we use has higher weight capacity and is not prone to racking due to uneven weight distribution. the controls are simple and straight forward and there are no dangerous pinch points. Rear Access Americon manufactures freestanding workstations that have built-in rear access to cpu storage. Unlike table systems that rely upon cloth partitions to hide cables, there is nothing to remove for rear access. slatwalls are an integral part of the workstation. They move with the furniture so sound suppression is not compromise in the standing position . We build many styles of dispatch workstations to satisfy the needs based on operator preferences, space constraints and group interactions.
